Eine neue Detektivgeneration begibt sich auf Verbrecherjagd: Die Kinder der einstigen „Fünf Freunde“ sind die Hauptfiguren dieser neuen Animationsserie: Jo, Max, Allie und Dylan. Zusammen mit Hund Timmy haben sie sich in Tante Georges altem Haus an der Küste versammelt, um dort gemeinsam ihre Ferien zu verbringen.
