Kyou kara Maou!
Shibuya Yuri war eigentlich ein ganz normaler Highschool-Schüler - bis zu dem Tag, als er, um einen Schulkollegen vor Schlägern zu schützen, unabsichtlich eine Toilette hinuntergespült wird. Er landet dabei aber nicht im Abwasserkanal, sondern im Dämonenreich, in welchem er prompt, aufgrund seiner schwarzen Haare und seinen tiefschwarzen Augen, zum »Maou« (Dämonenkönig) ernannt wird. Von nun an herrscht Yuri als König über das menschenhassende Volk der »Mazoku«. Doch da Yuri selbst ein Mensch ist und ein reines Herz hat, versucht er - ganz anders als seine Maou-Vorgänger - ein guter Dämonenkönig zu werden und Probleme ohne Gewalt zu lösen. Doch wird es ihm mit dieser Taktik auch gelingen den anstehenden Krieg im Dämonenreich zu verhindern? Und was vielleicht noch viel wichtiger ist: Wird Yuri den Mazoku ewigen Frieden mit den Menschen bringen?
