Murdoch Mysteries
Der katholische Detective William Murdoch (Yannick Bisson) löst im protestantischen Toronto um die Jahrhundertwende seine Fälle auf – für seine Zeit – höchst unkonventionelle Art: Mit Hilfe von Fingerabdrücken, Blutproben, genauer Analyse und Spurensuche am Tatort gelingt es ihm immer wieder, den oder die Schuldigen zu überführen, teils sehr zum Erstaunen seiner Vorgesetzten. Mit Hilfe seines Untergebenen Constable George Crabtree (Jonny Harris) und der Gerichtsmedizinerin Julia Ogden (Hélène Joy) gelingen Murdoch Erfolge, mit denen er letztlich sogar Inspektor Brackenreid (Thomas Craig) von seinen Fähigkeiten überzeugen kann.
