Maison Ikkoku
Der neunzehnjährige Godai wohnt in einem altmodischen japanischen Appartement namens Ikkoku. Godai ist ein Versagertyp; unsicher, unreif und er hat die Aufnahmeprüfung zur Universität nicht bestanden, sodass er nun ein weiteres Jahr als `Ronin` pauken muss. Seine Nachbarn sind nicht ganz unschuldig an seiner Situation, denn sie veranstalten beinahe jeden Tag ein Saufgelage in seinem Zimmer. Da wäre der Spanner Yotsuya, die freizügige Bardame Akemi und die ältere Hausfrau Ichinose.Eines Tages, als Godai wieder einmal sehr genervt von seinen Mitbewohnern ist und beschließt auszuziehen, bekommt das Ikokku eine neue Hausmeisterin: die hübsche Kyoko. Godai verliebt sich auf den ersten Blick in sie. Was die Sache kompliziert macht, ist die Tatsache, dass Kyoko bereits mit 22 Jahren verwitwet ist und ihrem verstorbenem Gatten immer noch nachtrauert. Werden Goday und Kyoko in diesen chaotischen Zuständen zueinander finden?
